I think the format of the presentations worked well, I was glad that it wasn't too formal and you had time to go around and look at other people's presentations. I thought that we didn't have enough free time though, and I wish we could have gotten just a general tour of the campus. Also, I think it would be fun if after the awards ceremony ther was a big dance where all the kids from different schools could interact.
The process I went through to prepare for this competition was helpful, espeacially the practicing with the seniors, they gave us helpful feedback. I think our group did very well in the competition, even though we didn't win anything, because the judges seemed very interested and we presented many times. I wish we could have started the projects while we were doing our research papers, because the papers took a lot of time that we could have used in our project.
I would like to continue with the composting project, and expand it to the whole district, and maybe even start it in homes. I think we should start working on a curriculum for elementry and middles school kids about composting. I think that we should reconsider what category our project is entered in, because I am not sure if it was social. Another idea is to come up with a type of packaging that is biodegradable, that companies can start packaging food and other products in, because a lot of plastic goes into landfills.

I like your ideas and feedback, OJ. The bio-degradable packaging sounds cool. That would be a serious challenge, but one I think you're up for.
Wasn't sure about this comment: wish we could have started the projects while we were doing our research papers, because the papers took a lot of time that we could have used in our project.
We'll start much earlier next year. We all know the format, the process, etc. Thanks!
